Welcome To Northern Star Stained Glass Studio

Centuries of Tradition from a Modern Studio

About the Studio

Northern Star Stained Glass is a forward looking, modern stained glass studio.

Behind Northern Star Stained Glass are Bryan Curtis & Sophie Drape. They are committed to providing the very best of their skills to your stained glass project along with unbeatable customer service.

With over 40 combined years of design experience within the Stained Glass industry, we are able to realise your vision with care, attention and a guiding hand. This experience means we are quickly able to assess what you, your home, or public building needs.

Northern Star Stained Glass has many very happy customers, gained through year after year of providing only the best we can offer. You can read our Google, Facebook & Yell Reviews online.

We are able to design & create new commissions in either a traditional style, a design to match or compliment an existing panel, or a more modern, contemporary style.

We will make sure you see every step of the process, and that you understand what is happening and why, before the final stage of completed stained glass is delivered or even installed!

Maybe your home has original stained glass windows and you want to keep them, but they are unsightly and in need of attention? Talk to us about triple-glazing your original leads in sealed units, along with new bespoke frames in either softwood, hardwood and even uPVC. We are able to supply and install the frames, along with any other joinery and/or building work necessary with our dedicated team of professionals.

Whatever your budget, we will be able to help, so please visit, call, email or contact us via social media on facebook & instagram!

We are proud to use the 1000+ years of tradition that comes with the craft of stained glass, but bring it into the 21st Century, with modern thinking, excellent customer service, skilled design techniques and to develop new ways to make our stained glass more 'eco-friendly' and thermally efficient where needed without compromising on the beauty of traditional stained glass.
